by Q: is it better to shoot 90 from the blue te
As a golfer, is it better to shoot 90 from the blue tees or 85 from the whites?
- Matt Granger, Atlanta GA
If you are only shooting five shots less from the white tees, then I would recommend playing the blues. The blues will give you more of a challenge which will benefit your game in the long run. Your goal from the blues should now be to shoot 85. If you find that you are shooting scores that continue to get higher, then maybe you should go back to the whites. Also, if you simply feel overwhelmed from the blues, than you should hit from the whites. You do not want to feel negative about your game. If shooting 85 from the whites makes your feel confident about your golf, then the whites are fine.
